Miles away from a touch of freedom

Hello everyone, I just finished this piece and I would like to bring a reflection.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how art can be expressive and how the lack of that makes it very raw... I've always painted/drawn for it, without emotion or meaning and I want to change that.

In this piece I wanted to bring a more cultural touch and show a scene with many representations, but above all using a simple painting.

If you look closely you will notice a representation of someone thoughtful, if you zoom in you will see a sad face... maybe with feelings of loneliness or longing for something... who knows? It can be a search for freedom, for experiences she never had. Inside is a "safe place", but darker and outside represents "risk" but clarity.

I left this question in the air (for not showing her vision) because every person who looks at it will ask themselves... what is she thinking or looking at?

The context is about a woman who comes from a good family, of course she has a successful life... but what does she really want? Does she have everything? Well, feel free to comment here πŸ‘‡β€
